You are really going to thank me for this one. Get ready to learn how to pamper yourself spa style at home in your pyjamas. There’s no need to have a quarter-life crisis just because you looked in the mirror this morning and noticed everything was a little more dull than it used to be. That can change, I promise. Maybe it’s stress, maybe it’s one too many late night summer parties, either way your face and body are probably screaming at you for some special attention! Here are some amazing DIY Hacks to make your hair softer, your face fresher, your teeth whiter, your lips plumper and your ‘trouble areas’.. less plump. In this article we will be using some Pure Essential Oils, which I highly recommend incorporating into your daily beauty regime.

At Home Microdermabrasion

1 tablespoon of baking soda

1 and a half teaspoons of water

2 drops helichrysum essential oil

Homemade Hot Oil Hair Treatment

4 cups of water

3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

5 drops of rosemary essential oil

5 drops of lavender essential oil

Bring one to two cups of water to a boil in a medium sized saucepan. Turn the heat down to low and keep water on a simmer. Now combine all ingredients except for the essential oils into a heat-proof bowl and place in the pot of simmering water for about 5 minutes. When the mixture has cooled off to a nice warm temperature add the essential oils. Gently massage the oil into your hair using your fingertips and cover your head with a shower cap when all the oil is used. Shampoo your hair, maybe twice (conditioner is optional) and you’re done!

Brighten Teeth with Strawberries

1 medium strawberry

1 drop of peppermint essential oil

Strawberries have a slight bleaching effect and help rid teeth of minor stains. Mash the strawberry into a pulp and add the oil. Mix well. Dip your toothbrush into the mixture and brush your teeth. Rinse thoroughly.

To decrease cellulite, improve circulation and help tighten skin use this simple DIY. Mix the oils into a 4 ounce spray bottle and top with grapeseed oil. Mix well and spray over area you are wrapping. Let sit for 40 mins, remove plastic and massage oils into skin. You can repeat this once every few days.

Cinnamon Oil Lip Plumper

Cinnamon essential oil

Coconut oil

Who doesn’t want an instant pout plumper? This hack last about 4 hours until your lips return back to normal size. Be careful with this one too, don’t go thinking, “If I use way more cinnamon oil my lips will get even bigger!” because too  much can actually burn. If you find your lips burning simply wash off the oil and redo the mixture with half the amount of cinnamon oil. Coat your lips with coconut oil and dab one drop of cinnamon oil on your finger. massage the cinnamon oil onto your lips and within a minute you should feel them start to tingle and plump up. Aren’t Essential Oils awesome?
